Printers and Technology
Seems like Murhpy has been here again! My new Canon printer has suddenly failed to cooperate. It doesn't even need the ink replacing yet...what gives? However, I do like the high resolution scanning function of the unit which can also scan slides and negatives. Tricky part is that an error code comes up which indicates a service error and the unit must be returned to Canon! Watch this space for updates on progression to a functional unit :-)

I thought it was interesting that the error shown on the LCD panel of the printer is not recognised by Canon...however, it does indicate that there is a hardware issue i.e. it needs some internal parts replacement! Keep watching here as the drama unfolds.
